Paco`s Tacos in Kauai

I love the Carne Asada Fries here!! I know it says it's an appetizer but that is my meal, okay?! Let me live my life

My husband and I went here at least 5 times during our stay on Kauai. The tacos are delicious and well priced for the island. It’s a laid back restaurant and has a real surfer/beach vibe that we loved. Highly recommend!

Authentic Mexican food on the island, very good service

Subpar Mexican food that's way over priced. Only one server who's overwhelmed and literally telling customers to leave the store. A party of 5 entered and there were two 4 chaired tables open next to one another. The fifth person took the a chair from the table and put in to the other so they can join their party, the girl told them they couldn't do that. So the man suggested putting the two tables together she said they couldn't do that either. So he asked what should they do and she just gave them a blank stare. They walked out. The store lost at least $130, as me and two babies ordered small things and spent $60. The managers are apparently on vacation?Also, if u ask for lemon with the seafood u ordered get a dirty look and no lemon. No restrooms not recommend.

Best Mexican food in the island. Chili verda is a bomb.

Try any of their locations. They are all equally good. I love their creamy salsa. Good and friendly service too. I have thoroughly enjoyed every meal I've had there.

On point chili Verde and amazing chips and salsa. Get the chili Verde sauce smothered on whatever burrito you choose.

7 of us had lunch. Food was really good. Seafood enchilada was awesome. Seafood was very fresh. Friendly and prompt service. Love when servers bring water and refills without having to ask. Price was very fair for large portions, being its Hawaii.

Excellent ono fish tacos, maybe some of the best I've ever had. The al pastor tacos were really good, and would have raved about them, except the fish tacos were so good everything else pales in comparison. Will go back!

Loved our lunch at Paco Tacos. My soft taco shells tasted homemade and were definitely authentic even in Hawaii. Service was great and friendly.

One of the best menudos I've ever had.

Keeping in mind the fact we're from Canada, where tex-mex isn't a thing, my wife and I found this place to be incredibly good. I had the chimichanga plate (al pastor) and my wife had the carnitas platter. Both were incredible, and we'll be back to try the rest of the menu! Large portions, friendly staff.

Looking for lunch after a hike and before a bike. The shrimp tacos were excellent! Ate outside at the picnic tables and enjoyed the great Kauai weather!

The tacos were delicious. My fiance had shrimp tacos and I had the Baja Ono tacos. Both were very good the only issue I could complain about is the chips weren't very fresh

The food was great, the staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was clean. What else could you ask for? Definitely recommend trying this place out.

Excellent tacos and surprisingly big menu - lots to choose from. Good sized tacos, quite filling and delicious! Note parking is an issue here - only two spots and one is handicap.

We got the ono tacos and the carne asada tacos. The sign in the window says best fish tacos, but I thought they were just average. The carne asada tacos were fine. It was $10 for 2 tacos, and you can’t mix and match. So you have to get 2 of the same taco, which is a shame. Average.

Cant comment about anything else on the menu but the grilled fish tacos were terrible. A piece of dry, white, unflavored fish with dry shredded cabbage in a corn tortilla. Comes with a slice of lime and side of hot sauce (which was the only thing that gave it flavor). No pico (I think they forgot to put it on). Just bland as can be. 2 bunk tacos and bottle water for $12. No thank you. You'd be better off walking down to ABC store and getting flavorful junk food.

Friday's are burrito special day. The seafood burrito was delicious and I could have just ate chips and salsa and been happy. Very very good! Need to park on street, no parking lot but definitely need to eat here!

Favourite tacos on Kauai that I tried. I had the fish tacos, couldn’t eat them all and taste just as good for breakfast the next day!

Great authentic Mexican food with a Hawaiian twist. Doesn't look like much from the outside, but the food is a great value... specially compared to other restaurants in the area. Tacos were fantastic and so was the ceviche!!

Was a great atmosphere and loved the smaller sizes. Only thing I'd change is let me order 1 so I can try everything! :)

Amazing hole in the wall place in historic Kapa’a. After a long day of hiking - this place provided much needed sustenance. The tacos were freshly made and they have a spicy pico de Gallo that paired really well with the grilled Ono. The place is family owned for many decades and the service is excellent!

We were craving fish tacos and stopped by this joint. Lot's of food choices and fast and friendly service. The shrimp tacos were a definite get again and there were several items on the menu that requires a repeat visit.

There isnt enough stars on google to give this place the review it requires.Hands down. The best burrito I've ever had, the Carne Asada was tender, bursting with flavour and left me wanting to order another, regardless if I could fit the quantity of food or not.The chips and guac was fresh and flavorful, my wife had the crab burrito and said it was fresh and delicious as well.Best little stop you can have near Waimea Canyon. Dont miss out on this place, you'll regret it.

Had great food at Paco's! The fish tacos are a definite must order and were also still delicious as a breakfast leftover the next day. Also ordered the tacos al pastor which were filled with meat and the very large chimichanga. They offer orders of tacos in 2s or 3s - recommend ordering 3 at a time and sharing or taking as leftovers, as the price per taco is cheaper and they held up well the next day.

Last meal of our trip before heading home to California. We are a small group of 8. My 18 year old son said the Carne Asada tacos were "bomb." My baja fish tacos were amazing. Fresh tasty salsa with the chips and salsa I ordered. Beans were fresh, authentic and delicious. Definitely recommend. Everyone in our group was thrilled with their plates.

Fine fish tacos. Fairly simple fare, fairly priced. Closed Wed, open for lunch to 9 PM. Very limited parking, 1 handicap, 1 regular, but there is on street on Kuhio Hwy and across the street there is a gravel parking lot alongside the soccer field. If you park there, don't leave valuables in your car, that lot can be sketchy.It is BYOB, no license. In reasonable weather there are a couple outside tables, (they have umbrellas, but you may have to set them up) which are great for people watching.

Food and portions were good. The service was a little slow but not horrible.

Friendly service and amazing tacos! The soft shell crab taco was fresh and crispy. The ono fish taco was juicy and perfectly fried. Grew up eating tacos in SoCal and this is one of the best fish tacos I’ve had! Great price for delicious seafood tacos! Plenty it outside seating and indoor tables as well.

Being a tourist from Miami I have to say this Mexican restaurant was delicious. It was absolutely tasty. 2 tacos for $10 and the customer service was great. Bring the family, you won't be disappointed.

My husband and I share the Carne Asada Fries (Appetizer Menu) to-go and are happy eaters every time! The portion size is perfect, the fries are crispy, and the steak, avocado, tomatoes, onions, and cheese makes this dish a winner!

Good quality but expensive. My biggest complaint is that you have to pay for chips and salsa, which I have never had to do in the Continental US. Being that the ingredients to make said foods can't be that much more expensive than the Continental US, I wasn't too happy about this. The fish tacos were very tasty.

We had the grilled fish tacos and the shrimp cocktail. Tacos we’re a 4 out of 5 and pretty fresh and warm. Shrimp cocktail was a 0 out of 5. They put shrimp in tomato sauce out of a can in a big glass and call it shrimp cocktail. It was disgusting. Like eating floating shrimp in tomato paste. $14 and Yuk! Also the server working on the evening we ate - 2/19 - was stone faced and didn’t act like she even wanted to be there. Seemed like I would be doing her a favor if I left. Don’t think I would return.
